For the most part, career liberals agreed to keep their traps shut in pursuit of career advantage. (Presumably, this doesn’t mean everyone.) But in this way, we hand the other side a massive political advantage. This week, voters are hearing, over and over, about the unfairness of Palin’s coverage. Because we’ve kept so quiet so long, these voters have no way to put these claims into context.
Kevin won’t tell you. Josh won’t tell you. Ezra spoke once, then shut the f*ck up. Your “nominal allies” are very quiet. Atrios rarely offers a peep. Why do they hate the Judds so?
It may not matter in this particular year—but it’s an amazingly stupid political play. But then, stupid is all around you this week, as the election draws near. Scarborough was deeply stupid today—but our side has been pushing some bull-roar too And people, mark our words on this: Stupidity only serves power! This morning, the backlash is already on, with Palin defended (by Brzezinksi and Jay Carney) for the outrageous attacks on her clothes. Gore received no such backlash or defense—and his wardrobe was savaged for months.
If liberals had an ounce of sense, we’d work to eliminate such inane topics from our pitiful public discourse. Inanity—like stupidity—only serves power. We’ll explore this sad theme all this week, in this, the stupidest week of the year. With amazement, we’ll note the growing way our side has embraced stupid too.

Smyrna Boy Abandoned By His Mom in Nebraska Returns to GA

A Georgia woman took advantage of a loophole in a Nebraska law to abandon her 12-year-old son in Lincoln last week.
And now Georgia officials are on their way to Nebraska to bring him back.
Tysheema Brown, 33, said she tried everything she could do to help her son before driving over 1000 miles to take advantage of Nebraska’s “Safe Haven” law.
The law was originally intended to protect unwanted infants. Every state has a Safe Haven law, but Nebraska is the only state that does not have an age cap.
In Georgia, the age cap to abandon a baby without fear of prosecution is 3 days old.
Since Nebraska’s law took effect in July, 20 children ranging in age from 1 to 17 years have been dropped off at local hospitals. Critics of the law argue that it was never intended to allow frustrated parents to abandon teenagers.
“This law has had serious, unintended consequences,” Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman said in a statement. “It needs to be changed to focus on its original intent — protecting infants.”
Heineman said that the state legislature intends to meet to amend the safe haven law so that it only applies to infants up to three days old. The next legislative session isn’t until January 2009.
Brown saw no other option but to drive to Nebraska after her mom told her about Nebraska’s Safe Haven law. Her son had been kicked out of two schools for fighting and he was arrested for stealing a camera. Brown feared he would end up in the state’s badly run juvenile corrections facilities.
“I just broke out crying,” said Brown, who drove over 15 hours straight with her son and 7-year-old daughter. She left her son at Lincoln General Hospital East on Saturday night. “I ran out of fight. I ran out of hope,” she said. “I never ran out of love for my child.”
Brown said when they reached Nebraska her son turned to her and said, “Mom, do I have to go?”
“Yes,” she replied. “You have to go.”

Swag is no longer how you carry yourself… at least for the majority. Its about how you can make yourself seen even at the expense of your integrity. Puffy posing on a couch with his half naked twin babies ain’t swag… its a call for attention. Lil Wayne wearing a tight ass jacket with no shirt and space boots ain’t swag… its cockriding Kanye…… wearing a dookie rope is just a testament that you don’t know shit about hip hop so you rock that big ass shit to make up for it. Swag is being an individual without comprimising who you are. Now if people in the industry can cockride, you can only imagine how the consumers ride. I remember when diamond grills and iced out pimp cups were “swag”. I remember when button downs with the french cuffs were “swag”. Remember when jerseys were “swag” ? ok, so i started feeling sick yesterday.. which i almost called my dr and cursed her out b/c it felt like the flu (i just got the flu shot last week- too late for after effects, too soon for me to aflready be getting sick).. but alas, i believe its just a cold- but a doosey.. last night i went to the gym to sweat it out, then sat in the sauna.. went home, tooka shower and piled on the layers of clothes with the vicks on, took soome zicam and passed out… 10 hours later (waking up late, i may add) still sick.. damn damn damn.. it is a cold and when i get those, they are indescructable… this will continue all week.. smh
so on my way into the bulding today…

So in the spirit of poor punctuation and questionable thought processes… here we go…
I wish I would log on this site while I am at home during one of my mentally high brainstorms but my home computer does’t get any love. One thing that has led to progress in race relations as they relate to my bed is that white women seem to have more in common with US now. We are not listening to more rock or dancing funnier… they are listening to more urban music and getting asses to go with those hips. But my sisters still get top billing followed by the hispos and cooli girls for long term profits but the white women surge are like short sells and must be attributed to the recent wall st collapse as the nation looks for a black leader… i guess the white women are looking for the same…. COUNTRY FIRST BITCHES…lol (paragraph ends here… shoutout to DIG and her ability to teach PHONICS)

When I first started working for this company, my healthcare plan was immaculate… top to bottom…. 80 percent dental…. no co pay among a host of other things. Now a nigga gets a bill sent to his house everytime he presents his insurance card. I can’t imagine what 2 or 3 kids on this plan would do to a nigga…. gotdamn.
