I’m back and tan!!
That’s disappointing, but then again, when you get this far in the game, you have strings attached no matter where you are. So I’m not especially surprised. But I’ll still vote for him over McCain, who is just fucking nuts.
And I didn’t hate Hillary because of her “shapeshifting” policies…I had other reasons, like her inability to run a financially stable campaign (if you can’t make a couple hundred million last a year, what the fuck do I look like trusting you with trillions?
), sneakily injecting race into her campaign, and her insistence on keeping the Rev. Wright thing going and “demanding” that Obama “categorically denounce” him AND having the nerve to send his campaign a letter with questions to “prove” to her his fitness to be president, when there were plenty of questions surrounding her abilities as well.

I agree with Jaeda. Among other reasons if Hilary hadve won i wouldnt have voted at all this year. I cant stand the Clintons. So this aint no big biggie to me.

I think it starts with the top down- it was clear that her people did not expect to have to campaign beyond SuperTuesday- she appointed 2 campaign managers who CLEARLY did not get along, and then once it was clear she was in the red and could not remain financially solvent, refused to bow out, even though we all did the math and could see that she wasn’t going to win, knowing that the DNC and Obama as the winner, traditionally has to bail the loser out.
That is bad management, and since management is a large part of that whole “Presidency” thing…
And Obama didn’t throw Rev. Wright under the bus- Rev. Wright needed to fall back. When everything popped off, Obama said, “He and I are cool, but that’s not what I’m about.” But the Rev kept talking shit, and kept pushing, so finally Obama had to say “We’re done.” I get that. I love my peoples, but if they are going out of their way to fuck me up when I’m in line for a major promotion, then I really have to assess whether or not they really have my best interests at heart.
And as far as Obama using Hilary’s personnel, that doesn’t worry me, since he seems to have a better grasp on what roles suit people, since there have been no horror stories about in-fighting in his campaign. The advice he accepts from them might be completely different that she did.

You do realize Obama was given 4 of Hillary’s Michigan delegates after he purposefully took his name of the ballot there?
Had the DNC followed their own rules, Obama’s actual delegate lead would have been pretty small. AND Hillary won the popular vote.
So I’m one who rejects the entire frame that she should have dropped out.
