Everyone knew it was dangerous work.
But no one could foresee the tragic turn of events that would lead to the death of a police informant during an undercover gun buy in a Bronx building - and the gunman’s waltzing out undetected, even though the building was surrounded by cops.
The ordeal began around 6 p.m. June 19 when the informant, a 24-year-old high-ranking Bloods gang member with a long rap sheet, pulled up in front of 3204 Park Ave. in Melrose.
He was with an undercover cop plotting to buy a .40-caliber handgun for $500 from a fellow gang member known on the streets as “Guns.”
Members of both the NYPD and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were monitoring the deal from surveillance vehicles nearby.
When the informant, Emmitt “E-Murda” Littles, phoned “Guns” and asked him to come down to the car, the illegal-gun dealer balked, telling him to go up to the 15th floor, instead.
Sources say the undercover officer felt this was a bad idea, as it went against preferred practice. But before the cop could stop Littles, the informant hopped out, saying, “I’ll do it,” and quickly headed into the building, sources said.
Littles was wearing a recording device but not one that could be monitored from a distance.
Minutes later, police radio blazed with numerous calls to 911 reporting gunfire in the building.
When cops raced upstairs, they found the 6-foot-4 Littles lying dead against a door with 14 gunshot wounds to his chest and arms, his cellphone in his hands and his shorts pulled down to his knees.
“Buying guns undercover is a very dangerous job,” said William McMahon, special agent in charge of the ATF’s New York office. “We will look at the procedures taken.”
One key piece of evidence in the case likely will be the tape recorder that Littles had on him, which was still running when he was found.
A quick replay of the tape revealed Littles’ last words: “Yo, yo, 5-0 is downstairs. They’re coming up.”
It is not clear whether he was tipping “Guns” off to the cops or trying to hide the fact he was working with them.
“You can hear them rummaging through his pockets, and then you hear them put one more [bullet] in [him],” said a source who heard the tape.
People close to Littles - who did not want to be identified - said he and “Guns” were old friends. They believe he was killed because “Guns” knew he was a snitch.
A search of Littles’ cellphone calls soon led cops to Don Silver, 28, who was recently released from prison on two attempted-murder raps.
When they tracked him to a nearby apartment, they found a .45 caliber handgun in a drawer, but it was not the murder weapon.
Silver is being held on a federal gun charge.

are you fucking serious? that is some bullshit! no way in HELL that should have been in the paper- who let out that info? i dont even know what to take from that.. on one hand, it sounds like they talking shit about the snitch, like its his fault for getting out of the car (which btw, he shoulda stayed his ass downstairs), but at the same time, they sound like they “outing” incompeteance on the part of the investigators.

It was racist and sexually explicit. The articles were all about the Jews being responsible for 9/11 and they had pics on the screen changing part (Top 5) of slaves and black people being hung, shit with swastikas, ebonic talk…. but if you scrolled the page down, they had anime porn and all kinda other pics of dicks and nasty shit.
