That’s what the bill does…
outlines stricter penalties to enforce the law. (equal pay is ALREADY the law, just isn’t being enforced strongly enough)
Women only have 180 days to report a violation…when usually you never find out you’ve been getting the shaft until after that 180 days has passed, if ever.
The legislation is in response to a recent supreme court decision that struck down an attempt a woman made to sue her employers once she found out she was being underpaid.

My Homie this is true… I was in during this time. If a Dem is in office the Military doesnt get the higher pay raise… even though we would still get a raise every year anyway. But I knew the fix was in when BUSH came out to Moody AFB and said that he was gonna give the Military More money for housing and a damn near 4% raise… now me knowing you dont get anything for nothing knew a war was on the way… that was in the spring of 2001… we all know what happen after that. But the funny thing is the military wants the money but will fight tooth and nail not to go to IRAQ… I knew this Tech Sargent that was a Total Republican didnt see it any other way. Talk about the weapons of Mass destruction and everythang… but when it was hit time to go to Iraq that dude came up with every excuse to not go… Just like some of these dumb asses that talk about how they will go fight but when the shit hits the fan they are the scariest ones… DAMN SHAME

These are just randomw questions that people should be asking. We already have a bill in place that isn’t being enforced… so instead of using resources to enforce laws already in place, they just make new ones that won’t get enforced. Isn’t this just a duplication of the law that already in place ? Doesn’t equal rights encompass everybody ?

I voted for Gore and Kerry… When I was in the Military… it was kinda like…do I vote for the extra money and have my folks broke or do I vote for what i think is right and still get paid but not as much…
I always knew that the money would come so I didnt think about them taking money away from the military… Cause if they shut down a base i would get be sent to another one. Or if they canceled a job I would just be sent to a new one.

The federal government is sending each and every one of us a $600 rebate.
If we spend it at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China .
If we spend it on gasoline, the money will go to the Arabs.
If we purchase a computer it will go to India .
If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.
If we purchase a good car, it will go to Japan.
If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan.
As you see none of it will help the American economy.
The only way to keep the money here at home is to spend it on
