I was outside the courthouse when they read the verdict and I thought it was "about that time" but too many pigs on the scene. Crazy. Iwas gonna take the day off but decided to come to work late just to get my mind off this shit. This shit hit me harder than I thought it would. . This happened in my hood... that could have been me spillin out a strip club drunk and ready to go home only to get pooped 51 times. What is even worse was the judges reasons for his verdict. Basically, he stated that the victims brought this on themselves. He believed that Guzman said "yo go get my gat" ( who the fuck says "gat") even though there was no weapon found. Not to mention that the cop that shot 31 times is a high school drop out that once put a teenager head thru a window and the city settled for 20K. The dumb ass judge basically said that Benefield and Guzman lied ( Guzman got hit with 13 bullets and had 16 holes in his body... still has 3 or 4 bullets in him right now) during their testimony to help their 50 million civil suit case. Shame on them for getting shot wrongfully and deciding to sue. I know I come on here and talk a lot of ignorant shit for shits and giggles but this shit really is fucking me up. Our lives ain't worth shit. Whether its a cop or its the judicial system, shit... we kill each other, black lives aren't worth the same as others... that what this case and many of them b4 have shown.
