Here’s the problem- this particular gf(NG) is very sweet, VERY cute…but mysteriously, her best friend always seems to wind up dating the men she finds attractive.
Now the best friend (we’ll call her SB) is pretty as well, so she’s always chalked it up to “well, they just prefer her over me- no harm, no foul”. Now I know that a mutual pal is interested in NG, and I know she’s kind of interested in him- thought he was attractive; nice guy.
I’m having lunch with Nice Guy and he asks me what’s up with SB. I say, nothing, why? Well, it seems SB has been VERY friendly to Nice Guy lately, but she didn’t seem to take notice of him till he started noticing NG. And SB has made a couple of backhanded comments that were like “you know i love NG, but____” and he asked me what the deal was with her.
Now, he told me that in confidence, but I really don’t want NG to make the same mistake she always makes, because Nice Guy truly is a nice guy, and he really isn’t feeling SB at all, and SB will try to convince her that Nice Guy isn’t really into her like that.
