I agree with Jay when he said, you can’t disappear for 4yrs and expect to come back and still be a blockbuster artist worthy of a big budget. He right on the money there, not to mention his last album sucked!
But Red and Joe, Red got shitted on based on what I know. He had several albums complete and ready to go. A loyal fan base that were begging for his album to drop and that sht got ignored. Memphis Bleek dropped 2 thuds, and you can’t even drop Red’s album which was already completed and sat on the shelves for yrs……
Then you drop it, give him one video and don’t even promote it. Yet we have 2 Memphis bleek albums…….Come on
At some point the truth about how much he was responsible for and what he wasn’t responsible for is gonna come out.
And Joe got shtted on, some of its his own doing.
But anyone that believes you can go from being the labels top prospect. Having a complete sophmore project be promoted with a release date and then shelved permantly once Jay becomes president is in denial. Combined with Jay being told Joe was supposed to be one of his major priorities. And now dude is off the label entirely after maintaining a underground buzz
and he’s off the label while your putting out Bleek.
