Her brother was one of the older cats on the block - he basically ran Hillside. He ended up getting bodied over some dumb shit a few years back. Then I hear her kid’s father got murdered. Not to mention the other countless niggas around who couldn’t give the corner up, that we’re supposed to be watching her since her brother passed.
I saw her on the bus a lil while ago, and she was all smiles. So I thought she smartened up and got her ass outta Cherry HIll.

A fight over the sale of an assault weapon led to the fatal stabbing of a 29-year-old man in Cherry Hill last month, according to court documents released yesterday.

Crystal Nikkita Newby, 21, of the 2900 block of Southland Ave. is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Qasim Kabah at his home in the 2500 block of Terra Firma Road.

Police say that Newby admitted in an interview to selling Kabah an assault weapon. They agreed that he would pay half the price up front and give her the rest later, according to court documents.

But when Newby called Kabah for the rest of the payment Sept. 14, they got into an argument over the phone. The argument continued at Kabah’s home just before midnight, eventually turning into a physical fight, according to documents.

Kabah tried to burn Newby with a cigarette, according to court documents, and began to “throw her around on the front porch.” Newby pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed Kabah in the chest, and Kabah then went to get a shotgun and ordered Newby away from the house.

Kabah suffered a puncture wound to his heart, causing his death, the documents state. A Tech-9 assault weapon was later recovered by police from Kabah’s home.

In addition to second-degree murder, Newby is charged with assault and unlawful sale of a firearm, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 13.

So now shorty will be down for a long time, and the kids will be without both parents. Both lost over some bullshit.

PERSONS OF ‘INTEREST’:A teen teller handles student accounts yesterday at Theodore Roosevelt HS’s North Fork branch. October 17, 2007 — All you need is a dollar and a student ID.

Kids at Theodore Roosevelt HS in The Bronx now have their own bank branch right on campus - and it’s staffed by their classmates.

The branch, a New York public school first, is aimed at teaching kids to save, as well as providing them with real-world business experience.

It’s being sponsored by North Fork Bank, which opened the branch yesterday in a converted classroom, with 10 high-school seniors serving as tellers.

“I will open an account tomorrow,” said Marcia Gomez, 15, a student at West Bronx Academy, one of six schools on the Roosevelt campus.

“It is a good idea, because students will learn to save money.”

The branch features two teller stations and two customer-service desks, and will operate three days a week from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Student tellers, such as 18-year-old business student Ethan Miller, will earn $11 an hour - and plenty of banking experience.

“This opportunity is overwhelming,” said Johnathan Rodriguez, 18. “It’s a dream come true.”

Student employees prepared for yesterday’s opening by working in North Fork branches in The Bronx over the summer, and taking a two-week teller-training class.

As part of their on-campus work, the students will visit classrooms at Roosevelt HS to educate other teens about financial planning and saving money.

“We can teach them to save,” said David Isaac, an adult North Fork manager who will oversee the new branch. “If they can come up with a dollar or two, we’ll open an account.”

Students checking out the new bank yesterday were surprised to find it’s the real deal.

“I thought it was just something for the business-school students,” said Rodriguez. “I didn’t know I could put my $5.25 right there. Do they give interest?”

They do.

All of Roosevelt’s 2,500 students will be able to open interest-bearing savings accounts. Teachers and administrators will have access to expanded banking services. The branch will not be open to the public, and North Fork will not make any money from the its operation.

The vice president’s wife, Lynne Cheney, announced her discovery yesterday while hawking her new book, “Blue Skies, No Fences,” on MSNBC.

When asked if she would support Hillary Rodham Clinton because she is a woman, Lynne Cheney said, “I have to admit to a certain bias here . . . Dick and Barack Obama are eighth cousins.”

Mrs. Cheney said that it was “an amazing American story that one ancestor . . . could be responsible down the family line for lives that have taken such different and varied paths.”

Then asked if she supported Obama she quickly said, “No.”

Obama’s camp made light of the family ties. “Every family has a black sheep,” said spokeswoman Jen Psaki, with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

The Chicago Sun-Times revealed the genealogical link in early September, claiming that the shared ancestors were Mareen and Susannah Duvall, 17th century immigrants from France.

The newspaper, however, claimed that the senator from Illinois and the vice president were 11th cousins.

The Duvalls are Obama’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents, and Cheney’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents, the paper said.

George W. Bush and Obama, meanwhile, are 10th cousins once removed - linked through a 17th century Massachusetts couple, Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Soole, according to the Sun-Times.

Anywho, i’m going to make this short and sweet- my gf is dating this guy, and SOMEHOW…the conversation turned to the number of sexual partners each has had. Now he’s definitely had plenty of sexual experience, and she’s had comparatively less.

My question is- was there anyway to avoid naming an actual number without looking like a complete skank?

Because after she named the number, he wanted like, a complete breakdown, like a RESUME of dick, and that turned into an argument that lasted till 1AM. And the thing is- we’ve been very close friends for almost 15 years- and I know she number she told him was on the low side lol.
