I agree with a lot of this but lets not dodge the main issue here….
This is America and there are laws against DOGFIGHTING. Other countries don’t factor in the equation.
Hunting is legal. Black people can hunt.
Slaughterhouses are legal… black people eat meat.
Dogfighting is ILLEGAL ….period.
Now I have had pitbulls since I was like 9 years old so i know the breed personally. If you raise them domestically around other pets, they will and can adapt. I’ve NEVER had an incident with any of the 4 full breed pit bulls that I’ve own because I’ve always raised them around people and other dogs.
But you can tell that they were bred for fighting just in the way they carry themselves. They have an amazing tolerance for pain which works when you got little children riding on them like horses and slapping and pulling their tails… the dogs enjoy it.
Even I don’t think Vick should do time but lets not dodge the fact that his homeboys are bitch made pussies that made a soft case a very strong one.

Being a patriot fan has taught me about NFL contracts TRUST
In football your only good till your 30 and then your screwed!!!!! Teams will cut you or ask you to renegociate your contract. Whenever you see a large football contract 90% of the time the player never sees half that money cuz their cut midway through it. Teams push the bulk of the earnings toward the end and cut players before the see that money. 2nd Football contracts only have partially guaranteed contracts and you can get cut at any time. In the NBA because there’s less injury risk the whole contracts guaranteed. Its why players hold out.
Like I agree with Asante Samuel for holding out. If you don’t hold out the players that exceed their current contract value get screwed out of tons of cash compared to their market value. Thats why the Pats Franchised Samuel so next yr he’s closer to 30 they can guarantee less long term cash. Its a hustle

He wants like 30 million guaranteed and they only wanna give him like 25. I think he wanted 25 at first and the Raiders would only give him 20 and then Calvin Johnson signed for 27 million gaurunteed and Russell upped it to 30.
The Raiders should have just given him the 25 in the first place.
But they fucked up because they didn’t square this away before drafting him. I say trade him for a player and a pick this year and ride with Dante.

It works both ways though. Players can’t get fat ass contracts then blow out a knee or something…and they’ll still get a good portion of that guaranteed money.
I think VETS should be able to negotiate however they see fit, but not rookies.
In my mind, I just can’t rationalize a rookie making more than a 3,4+ time pro bowler before they’ve even played a pre-season game. Shit makes NO sense to me.

I feel you.. at this point, both teams have very little to lose and fans would support anybody coming in and doing something because Vick and Russell aren’t even on the field.
But ATL needs a vet. Their team isn’t young and I don’t know how they would do with an unproven rookie but at this point they probably don’t have too many choices.

its hard to stay focused. Honestly TE are far more active than WR’s unless its a passing play for the most part they’re not even involved. Because Moss doesn’t run all the routes like a TO or Chad or Marvin I can see how after a certain number of plays where your not involved and your QB’s not throwing your way due to double teams your could be lax but your not supposed to be dumb enough to say it.
